SITS – The Service Desk & IT Support Show postponed until May 2022
The organiser of SITS – The Service Desk & IT Support Show has announced the show has been postponed until May 2022.
The show will now be held on the new dates of 11-12 May 2022 at ExCeL London, following the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
David Maguire, SITS’s group event director, says: “Although there are positive signs that large scale events will be able to restart in the coming months, the current restrictions in place still pose a huge challenge to running SITS in May this year. As always, our priority is safety, and we feel that there are still too many issues in 2021 for us to be able to deliver the event.
“We want to make the right decision for the whole sector as well as our attendees. And after consulting with our partners, we’ve decided the best action for everyone involved is to move the show to May 2022.
“We also want to ensure that our exhibitors, visitors, speakers and partners have a successful experience at SITS. We’re committed to delivering a show that provides the industry with the most effective opportunities for networking, education, discovery and interaction – and we’re confident the move to 2022 will best enable us to do this.
“The good news is that you won’t have to wait until next year to access content from the show. Following the success of the Virtual Summit series, which SITS launched in 2020, we’ll be returning with another series of digital events, bringing you more thought leadership from the industry throughout 2021.
“Finally, we’re so grateful for the incredible goodwill and support this industry has shown us during these difficult times. We’re looking forward to working together over the coming year to ensure that SITS continues to be the celebration and gathering the industry deserves and can be proud of. And more than anything, we look forward to seeing you – in person – as soon as possible.”
