Introducing Lars Matzareth, Director Sales EMEA and Simone Rothmund, Team Lead Customer Success from AnyDesk Software who are presenting Simplicity as a Service in the age of IoT at Theatre 2 at 3pm on the 11 May at SITS, The Service Desk & IT Support Show.

Lars is a passionate software technology generalist that helps people understand the benefits of intelligent automation and digital workers at their fingertips – making those work environments more ‘human.’ He loves helping his clients see how these technologies can help them achieve positive business outcomes.

Presenting alongside him is Simone Rothmund, a passionate Customer Success Specialist and Technology Enthusiast who established and shaped the Customer Success department in two SaaS companies.

1. What are you most looking forward to at SITS 2022?

Lars: Meeting in person again is what I’m really looking forward too. After not being at a fair for close to two years I’m really excited to publicly speak at SITS and look forward to the discussions about the transformation of the contact centre and support business areas.

Simone: I’m delighted to meet like-minded people, learn a lot about latest tech, and join insightful presentations about industry trends.

2. How did you get into the IT profession (or IT support)?

Lars: I started my first sales jobs in the IT Hardware space and then switched to a BPO company transforming sales organizations for our customers back at the turn of the millennium. Ever since I have been working in the software space to address contact centre and remote access and support situations for my employers.

Simone: As a digital native with a passion for technology and good service, I always wanted to be part of a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. As a result, I began specializing in SaaS Customer Success. At AnyDesk, I am now responsible for a global team of Customer Success Specialists, and I adore my job.

3. What’s the single biggest challenge in your work?

Lars: Coordinating the high volume of requests from our prospects and customers in EMEA and to fulfil them in due time – all while onboarding and growing our future sales personnel across all EMEA Regions.

Simone: The service world and the standards for effective service are continually evolving. Customers have a wide range of needs, especially on a global scale. Finding and using tools and methods to exceed those expectations is the most challenging endeavour.

4. What have you got planned for your session?

Lars: Lots of learnings from my 20 years of experience in Customer Service and Support and how these have been challenged and changed over the last 24 months. Hope you’ll enjoy the insights we can give.

Simone: Since we speak with service experts from all over the world on a daily basis, we get a lot of insights on the service world. In “Simplicity as a Service” we gathered their best practices and will share them with you.

5. In addition to your seminar session, why would you recommend others to visit SITS?

Lars: It’s one of Europe’s biggest Events if you are serious about being in the support business. Use it to gain an advantage from the networking possibilities and the vast insights of each of the sessions shared during the event.

Simone: IT service management specialists from all over the world will convene in London to discuss the newest service desk and IT support developments. It’s a terrific opportunity to learn about industry trends, network with like-minded individuals, and acquire ideas for how to please and exceed your customers’ expectations.

You can watch their session titled ‘Simplicity as a Service in the age of IoT‘ on 11 May 2022 at 15 – 15:45, Theatre 2 at SITS, The Service Desk & IT Support Show at ExCeL London.
