SPEAKER INFORMATION

Your Session | In the Theatre

    • Arrive at the theatre you are speaking in 15 minutes before your session.
    • You have 40 minutes for your session – we suggest presenting for 30 minutes and allowing 10 minutes for questions.
    • You do not need to send your presentation to us. Please bring your presentation to the event on a USB memory stick. Should you wish to present from your own laptop, you can plug this in at the theatre instead. If you are bringing a mac, bring any necessary link cables.
    • The venue does have Wi-Fi but do not rely on this for your presentation. We strongly recommend having all content pre-loaded.
    • Water refills – we urge you to bring your own water bottle. Refill stations are available in the main concourse at Excel London. Limited cans of water will be available in each theatre but only available upon request.

Badges & Data Capture | What to Know

  • If you are exhibiting, you can use your data capture app to collect details from visitors attending your session. Please make sure attendees understand the reason for badge scanning. For example: “To receive further information or the slides from this session, please allow John at the back of the room to scan your badge on exit.”
  • Please note, Excel staff will be scanning attendee badges in the theatres. However, we strongly recommend bringing a colleague with your own data capture app as a backup. This helps ensure you capture every attendee and provides added reassurance in case of any issues on the day.
  • You will receive your speaker badge one week before the show. If you cannot print your speaker badge at home or haven’t received it a week before the show, you will be able to print it in the registration area upon arrival.
