Axios, the ITSM software specialist, has appointed a new head of global sales as it rounds off its senior management team.
Roberto Casetta, a 25-year veteran of the software industry, has taken the role and will be responsible for growing Axios’ sales around the world. He has previously worked at BMC and most recently at HEAT Software (now Ivanti) as senior vice president.
As well as spearheading the sales push, Roberto has stated that maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with the global customer case will be one of his main priorities.
“I’m excited by the opportunity to join an organisation that has an impressive potential (to transform) the technology and business solution available for our customers. Axios is one of the main players in the service management arena, always well respected and recognised as a leader. The combination of a solid core technology with a fresh new ITOM (IT Operations Management) solution, is creating a portfolio able to immediately address the digital transformation starting in the market.”
Roberto is the final piece in a senior management team for the UK-based Axios. He joins Wendy Ellen, head of global HR, Gerry Jamieson, Financial Controller, Chris Rydings, CTO, Gary Lessels, global consultancy leader) and Andy Hudson (head of global marketing).
