NetSupport is aiming to help schools and businesses improve asset management with the latest release of its solution.

NetSupport DNA: version 4.5 has added support for iOS and Chrome, as well as enhancing Mac OS X to help improve the support of users in working in multi-platform environments. This allows improved real-time monitoring and internet metering, including keyword alerts for educational institutions.

‘Profiles’ can now be assigned to specific users or groups of users to segment the services they can access.   This means that certain groups can have full print access, while other departments, such as marketing, can be given access to social media platforms.

NetSupport’s managing director, Al Kingsley commented on the release: “With this update to both the Corporate and Education Editions of DNA, we’re giving organisations the ability to monitor and support users across a multi-platform environment, which is a huge benefit for those operating a range of technologies on site; allowing them to see all activity and apply profiles to groups and departments to boost efficiency even further.”

There are a number of other productivity and security enhancements in 4.5 which you can learn about on the NetSupport website.
