Netviewer Meet now with Mac Moderator; Mac solutions for web collaboration showcased at the CeBIT
Karlsruhe / Hanover, March 3, 2010 – Netviewer AG, the European market leader in the field of web conference solutions, has during a CeBIT press conference outlined its Mac strategy and its new solutions for web collaboration under MacOS. Version 6 of Netviewer Meet, the popular application for online meetings, officially premiered at the CeBIT trade fair (Hanover, 2 – 6 March), now also contains a user-friendly Mac Moderator. Mac users can thus not only take part in web conferences but also initiate and chair them. And, of course, Windows and Mac users can work together seamlessly.
The Mac Moderator is the first step on a comprehensive roadmap for MacOS. Netviewer AG is thus taking on board the significantly rising importance of Mac systems in corporate applications worldwide, and addressing a high-affinity target group for visual real-time communication by means of web conferencing and online support. Future product development work at Netviewer will increasingly be progressed synchronously for both Windows and MacOS.
Netviewer is showcasing its corporate capabilities at the CeBIT in Hall 8 (Stand C30 – green IT area). On Thursday, 4 March, Technology Director Lars Thomas will at 11.00 a.m. be one of the guests on the stage of the Mac Business Solutions Area in Hall 2. Title of the presentation: “Web Collaboration on the Mac“.
